Solutions

Real fixes, under every pillar.

Practical reforms a city council or the Legislature can act on. This is what we will fight for.

01

Leadership & Public Service

Lead now.

A pipeline to boards and commissions

Identify open seats on city boards, planning commissions and advisory committees, and help young Utahns apply and serve.

Practical leadership training

How local government really works: budgets, zoning, public meetings, public speaking and ethics.

Mentorship across generations

Pair emerging leaders with experienced public servants and community leaders who have done the job.

Candidate education for 2027

Open, practical training for anyone considering a run for city council or mayor in 2027.

A network that shows up

Connect members to each other, so no young candidate or appointee does it alone.

Service before titles

Real community projects members can lead now, building a record of results.

02

Affordability & Opportunity

Restore the Utah Dream.
The core idea

Starter homes on small lots, allowed by right.

Real single family homes on lots of about 2,500 square feet, approved without a years long rezoning fight. Every foot of lot width a buyer doesn't have to pay for saves $2,000 to $2,500. Idaho passed its version in 2026. We bring Utah's back, with an owner occupancy requirement so the savings go to families, not investors.

~$85Khousehold income that can carry a 1,000 sq ft starter home

Pre-approved starter home plans

A library of ready-to-build plans any city can adopt, so families aren't paying for a new design review every time.

Pay fees when the buyer closes

Defer impact fees and land payments until the home sells. It costs cities nothing but timing and cuts thousands in carrying costs.

Put public surplus land to work

Use state and school district surplus land for starter homes, sold at appraised value with payment deferred.

Local workers first

Priority windows so teachers, officers and workers in a city get the first chance to buy there.

A capped approval process

One checklist. Two meetings at most. Approval time is cost, and families pay it.

Down payment help for existing homes

Utah offers up to $20,000 in down payment help, but only on new builds. Extend it to existing homes.

03

Government for the People

A public trust.

Conflicts of interest in the open

Clear, public disclosure of conflicts by elected officials, and recusal when they have a stake in the decision.

Budgets people can read

Plain language budgets and spending reports, published where residents can actually find them.

Public records that are public

Agendas, votes, contracts and records easy to search online, without fees or delays.

Every vote on the record

Recorded votes on decisions that matter, so residents know where their representatives stand.

Meetings people can attend

Public meetings and hearings scheduled and streamed so working people and students can take part.

Follow the results

Track promises and reforms publicly, and report what was delivered and what wasn't.

04

Utah Heritage & Identity

This is the place.

Neighborhoods built for families

Growth that adds homes young families can buy, not just units investors can rent.

Grow up where you grew up

Housing and jobs that let the next generation stay near the families and communities that raised them.

Safe communities

Support the public safety, schools and parks that make Utah neighborhoods the safest place to raise a family.

Honor our history

Preserve and tell the story of the pioneers, faith and many cultures that built Utah, in our parks, landmarks and public places.

Open space and the outdoors

Protect the trails, canyons and open space that are part of what it means to live in Utah.

Pride of place

Celebrate what makes Utah the best state in the union, and keep it that way as we grow.

Make it happen

Solutions need leaders.

None of this happens on its own. It takes people in the room where decisions get made.
